Planting Bamboo Trees

Calling all Rotary, Rotaract, and Interact Clubs including family members, and friends of Rotary!

Bamboos, nature's giants, not only stabilize soil but also generate for e.g a staggering 27.38 million tons of oxygen yearly in India. A single hectare of bamboo forest sequesters 12 metric tons of carbon, equivalent to 26,000 pounds, offering a powerful tool against global warming.

District 3300 Action Group on Environmental Sustainability (DAGES) is launching the first 100 Bamboo Tree-Planting on 18 November 2023 (Saturday) at 8.30 am at  Rotary Peace Park · Jalan Rantau Panjang, Kampung Rantau Panjang, 45600 Batang Berjuntai, Selangor, Malaysia.  Grow green and embrace this chance to make a difference and turn it into your Club project!

We provide bamboo saplings and tools at no cost.

Be among the FIRST 100 to register and enjoy a delicious nasi lemak + kopi 'o' panas! Let's kickstart our journey to combat global warming – every small effort counts!
